A new report has emerged suggesting Britney Spears’ team has started discussions for her to perform at the 2018 Super Bowl halftime show.
“Britney has made it clear to her team that it is a dream to perform at a Super Bowl,” an insider told the New York Daily News. “She has the hits package and appeal to be a headliner.”
Spears has performed during the Super Bowl halftime show before as part of an act with N’Sync, Aerosmith, Nelly and Mary J. Blige in January 2001. Last summer, she said “Yes, I would probably do that,” when asked if she would return to perform at the football game. The Super Bowl will air on February 4th from Minnesota.
