“Shiny, Happy People Holding Hands. Shiny, Happy People Laughing.” – R.E.M.
Sunday, June 3rd marked Winnipeg’s 31st Pride Parade!
It was the biggest (105 floats!) and the most attended in history!
We were so honoured to be a part of this year’s magic…something we certainly don’t take for granted! We saw all walks of life (2-legged & 4-legged) celebrating equality for everyone!!

Proud to walk in the #PrideParade today, & greatly honoured to be joined by Winnipeg’s 41st Mayor, Glen Murray – the world's first openly gay Mayor of a major city! @PrideWinnipeg #PrideWPG #PrideWeek pic.twitter.com/iyy0pKYf2e

If you couldn't make it to the parade, don't worry, you still have time to join the fun. The Pride Festival @TheForks is going on until 7pm. It's free to get in.
