The streaming service is trying out a new look…at least temporarily.
Currently testing out a new feature called “Extras” in its mobile app, Netflix has brought together trailers, photos, and alerts for upcoming shows in a way that looks a lot like Instagram.

Users included in the test group can access the feature through a dedicated button with Netflix saying that they’re testing it out “to help fans connect more deeply with the titles they love and discover new ones to watch.”
They also note, “these tests typically vary in length of time and by region, and may not become permanent.”
