Spencer Dueck is a 6yr old boy in Winnipeg with a very rare deletion- 3q13.31 deletion syndrome, so rare that there has been less than 20 confirmed cases in the world. According to mom Sabrina Gamey, having sure a rare condition and can be disheartening and terrifying as no one in his medical team knows exactly what to do moving forward, to help him. But thankfully organizations like the Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation have been there to help. Since Spencer was 9 months old, the CRF has been instrumental in his life journey. Because of them, Spencer has had access to specialized equipment, programming, therapies, supports and services. And they do this at no cost for thousands of Manitoban families of children with special needs!
